    What the heck are these?

    Engine #FAD-S125257
    Intake Manifold 3844461
    Heads 3880462
    Thanks for your help in identifying these.

      3844461 intake manifold L76 /L75 1964-65 (used with Holley carb, choke spring on carb, no stove in manifold)

          Make that L76/ L79, not L75

          heads : should be 3890462 - smallblock after 1966

              Thanks for the response Joe, but the heads are very clearly marked on both heads with the 3880462 number. Have any idea about the engine number I listed? I don't recognize it at all.

                  Are they "double hump" heads? If so then they are likely 3890462 heads, used from late 66 through 68. These are somewhat better to work with than the older 3782461 heads, which also sport the "double hump" marked casting. Is it possible that the casting number is not fully formed, making the "9" appear to be an "8"? This, you know is very common.

                  I am sorry, but I cannot help you with the engine stamp number.
