    Decoding AZ Ralley wheels

    I'm trying to decode a set of AZ 8 X 15 Ralleys but hung up a bit.
    The month digit on the left of the valve hole and the day on the right side of valve hole are there.
    Further left of the month I read K196.(no spaces and no dashes).
    K= Kelsey 1= Chevrolet and what does "96" represent??...69?
    Note 'K196' is all together on it's own and to the left of the month digit on left side of valve hole.
    They are all GM and stamped AZ.
    Thanks.Jim

    K = type of rim bead; 1 = manufacturing plant; 9 = the year - all from the TIM&JG. The 6 has me confused.

      I believe some time in the '80s the steel wheels began to be manufactured with dates showing the decade. I suspect your wheel was made in 1996.
