    1969 427 coil bracket

Can someone tell me how to identify the coil bracket that is correct for a 1969 vette 427 400 hp engine. Thanks, Tom

    Tom------

It's a bit hard to describe. However, the left side of the bracket as you're looking at the "opening" is asymetrical as compared to the right side. The vertical section through which the screw attaches in the center is shorter on the left side than the right and the angle of the bracket on the lower left is different than the angle on the right side.

Thanks Joe. One advertised as being for a 400-427 sold on ebay for $192.00 (out of my willingness to pay) and I have an box of old ones that I am going to go through to check. Thanks, again.

Look at the paragon catalog for a picture of the bracket.
