C2 starter heat shield fastener

Looking for information regarding P/N 9420494 fastener (per '65 AIM). It is the bolt that holds the starter heat shield to the starter support bracket.

I believe that it is a number 10 screw/bolt with 24 tpi. Question is: What is the length and head configuration? Hex head bolt, slotted head screw, phillips, etc?

Also interested if lock washer is used. AIM does not show one.

The screw of which you inquire is a self-tapping, flanged hex head screw of 10-24 thread size and 3/8" length. It is zinc plated and has a "notched style" pointed end.
