I'd like opinion on best tire size for my '67 coupe (other than original skinny ones)?
I've heard 205/70's (R 15's of course).
Also 215/65's and others... clear out to 245/60's.
I want the most rubber on the road with the best ride -- without rubbing wheelwells on turns and damaging fiberglass (& tires).
Would 215/70's work with rubbing?

Ken - I've used Dunlop 205-75x15 ww for years on my '67 conv. SB. Great ride, no rubbing.

And as for the speedo, mine tracks exactly as it did with 7.75x15's.

Also, these won't fit the spare tire carrier, so down-size for the spare.

These are 215-ZR70/15 Pirellis with 6" wheels and they do not rub.

The 215/70ZR-15 Pirelli P4000 Super Touring on Paul's car is the best currently available performance tire for C2s that fit the wheels (width-wise), fenders, and have the same revs per mile as the OE tires, so speedo/odo calibration is not upset.

If you want a set, move fast. They are out of production, but there is still inventory in the distribution system.
