Can someone please provide a description with dimensions for the brass 69 big block expansion tank?

Don't have one to measure right here but, The tank is a copper, black painted, approx 4" diameter, 12" long cylinder. fits under the passenger side hood surround.

I just measured the one on my '72, which I think is identical to a 1969. The JG is obviously wrong. Bob's dimensions are closer, as mine is about 3 x 12. That is another correction we need to make in the JG. Thanks for making us notice it, Verle.

I have one in the garage in the 69... I take a measurement tomorrow... Are you interested in the one for an AC car?

I believe the "with A/C" supply tank is the one in question. Only big blocks with A/C used trhe brass supply tank. All other cars which used supply tanks were equipped with aluminum tanks.
