Just wondered if anyone knew of a white with white/blue 64 coupe in the Tampa/St Petersburg Florida area. It was a 365 HP with a 3.08 (yea, really) so it really is a unique car. The car went from Illinois to St. Pete in around 1980 but I haven't heard anything from it since. We bought this car new in early 64 and I'd love to see it again. Thanks....
Yes, the very same car. Bought it new, sold it a few years later and then Bob Keblusek happened to see it advertised in the Chicago Trib in about 1977. I bought it back and stripped it, which would be the way you remember it. I should have never sold it the first time and definitely not the second time. I would send you a picture of me with it but I look like such a punk.
I was thinking about making it an FI car in 77 but couldn't bring myself to drill holes in that perfect body. I really wanted FI when I bought the car new but couldn't afford it.
Last I heard, it was here in St. Pete and I even looked at in about 1980 but then lost tract of it. It was owned then by a Scott Ford but the number I had isn't good now and no other current listings. 40837S108763
