I am looking for pictures of an original passenger side inner fender that would show the heater and a/c hose bracket positions and routing. My car is a July 66 327/300 with A/C. I would appreciate the help if anyone could provide these.
Basically I need pictures showing the bracket positions as well as how the hoses are routed on the passenger side inner fender. I am trying to verify what the AIM shows with some photos of actual cars.
Ian - The 1966 Corvette AIM might not show the "correct" routing and bracket installation for your car because there is a Chevrolet Technical Service Bulletin (TSB), Bulletin No. DR #66-10, December 16, 1965, titled "Heater Hose Routing change Required - 1966 Corvette with 327 Cu. In. Engine and Air Conditioning" that recommended a change of heater hose routing for early 1966 Corvettes, S/N 6S103533 and earlier, w/ C60 AC; and initiated the chance in the heater hose routing for 1966 Corvettes w/ 327 and C60 produced after that. The TBS gives description of the heater hose routing change and some dimensions for inner fender clip location. You're welcome to a copy if you think it will help. Pete
