If "IVORY" simply means white, then according to the Color and trim combination information I have, the cove must be santeen silver, right now the body is white but the cove is red. So this cannot be the original cove color can it?

I believe that is correct. The color combinations for a 60 in Noland's vol 1 book are kind of confusing but thats the way I read it.

Tom - I believe you are correct. I have never seen any factory indication of cove color on any solid axle car. The only clue would be remaining evidence (if any)... And, I might add, the dealer would probably add this color, or any color, for less than $50 at the time... DC
