Does anyone have any hints on refinishing the front SLA metal bushings? Mine have from little rust to heavy rust. They seem to have a slight black tint to them. Please see photos.

The originals had parkerizing or some similar surface prep. I have black oxide treated mine in the past after glassbeading them and then sprayed them with matte clear. They looked real original, and I never took any deducts for them.
