New C5 Owner Old C2 Owner

Many of you have helped me over the last 2 years with various questions and problems on my 65 Roadster. I am still driving and working on that car and enjoying most of it. I have just bought a new daily driver. I found a dealer with a brand new, never titled 50th Anniversary Convertible and just couldn't help myself. I know they aren't rare or collectable but it will be fun to drive to work. So my question is does anyone know why the clutch would seem to be difficult to engage smoothly? My 65 is a 3.36 geared 365 hp unit but it is easier to get a smooth start. The C5 has the 3.42 gear, and I know the clutch is hydraulic, I just find it very sensitive to release.

    Thanks,

    George

I've got a yaller '02 that seems to be fine in the clutch department. So was my '00 Mag red convertible. Maybe, it's just getting used to it, I don't know. If'n it's too grabby, I'd ask the dealer, cuz they are supposed to be smooth.

      Chas,

It is probably driver error, but I guess a little time and practice will tell. My 65 is yellar, just a lighter shade.

      Thanks,

      George
