New Pavement Grabbers for 2001 Z06

Folks,

Have around 20k miles on my Goodyear SC tires and looking to replace them. Have been thinking about going with the Toyo Proxes T1S. Anybody on this Forum use these tires and what are your thoughts?

FYI - am getting a great buy on these - $165 each for the fronts and $225 each for the rears

No personal experience with the Toyos on a Z06, but if you have to drive the car a lot in rain, especially fairly heavy rain, the Toyos would be a better choice. They don't have the dry grip of the OE Goodyears, but they are much more balanced for wet weather driving, so if you use the Z06 as a daily driver in most parts of the country that see rain most of the year, the Toyos might be a better choice than the OE Goodyears.

If most of your driving is on dry roads, the the GYs are tough to beat!
