    C1 water pump ID?

I have a correct # water pump on my bench, but I am curious what the applcation for the one on the car is. It is identical in every way to the correct pump, but the casting number on it is 3782608. Couldn't find it in Noland's book. What's it from?

Dave, check the size of the fitting on the by-pass. I think it's larger on the 608 than the 609. Could be wrong about that, but I think that is the difference.

3782608 was the standard water pump on non-SHP small-blocks for many years, and has no bypass fitting; the SHP engines used the 3859326 pump with the bypass fitting.
