Smog pump date codes

I have one pump that is dated different 16A321S all others are like 8621S 86 = jullian date 2 = 1972 1= first shift s= saginaw? . Thease pumps are not for sale. Lyle

lyle: in 66 and 67, the date code is interpreted as such:21062a= 210th day of 66, 2nd shifthope thios helps, mike

Mike That is the way all are dated except the smog pump that is 16A321S. The A is what I don't understand so if I don't have the right date for a car I will just put this one on and see if I see any head scratching. Lyle
