    where can I get argent silver wheel paint?

    subject line says it, I am refinishing my 67 wheels and need correct paint, any ideas where to get it? code 9696L is what is required by book, but paint stores can't help me with this, their books don't have it anymore??

      Many places have it in rattle cans. I take it you are looking for something more durable than that?

          If you are going to be around Chicago next weekend, I bet you can find some on a golf course near St. Charles. Odds are you'll find most things you want.

              OEM Paints. www.oempaints.com has contact info. The part number on my cans is 11025. Note this is the Argent Silver/Green that was correct for my '69. There is also an Argent Silver, but I'm not clear on what years (or if) that was actually ever used on.

                  There was a long thread on this board a few years ago on this one and i printed it out for reference.....silver is PPG lacquer non smudge aluminum DDL #8568 for the argent silver its DAR #8568. I found it easier just to buy a few cans of spray paint at carlisle.
