My original squirters that mount in the grill have a problem. The little brass balls won't rotate so it's tought to adjust the spot where the fluid squirts onto the windshield. I have soaked them in penetrating oil and heated them gently. Still no movement. Any tricks of the trade that you've had success with? jerry

Re: C2 windshield washer squirters
Hi Jerry:
Are you sure that they are original type nozzles. You know that the reproduction nozzles are not adjustible.
By the way, how did you fare with your PV last month. I hope that we were of some help with your washer pump, but there was no response.
Best regards,

If you have access to an ultrasonic cleaner, that might help. Ask you dentist. Most dental offices use one for cleaning equipment. Chuck1963 Corvette Conv. 327/360 NCRS Top Flight

Re: C2 windshield washer squirters
I had a similar problem with my 66 and I solved it by using a dental pick, with the point gently inserted into the nozzle, to very carefully and gently persuade the nozzle to move. It was a trying time because I was afraid I would break the nozzle or the point off of the pick. Once I got it loose, I used a drop of oil on the ball and then moved it around. It was still working when I sold the car two years later, although it would sometimes require assistance from the dental pick.

Re: C2 windshield washer squirters
After reading this post and a similar one on the VH board I brushed mine with a brass brush and put a drop or 2 of PB Blaster on them, about an hour later I went at them with a dental pick and they moved with ease. Good luck.- Top
