C1 61 convertible top installation again

Sorry for the re-post but I'm still having trouble with the rear bow part of the install. Can someone walk me through it? Is there any glue involved or is it just the cord? does the lomg weather strip go in from the middle out or the ends in? E-mail would be fine. thanks again. And happy father's day to all you dads out there!!!

Jim, no glue involved, just the cord. I started in the middle and worked toward both ends. be sure the channel is clean and free of old material. A small, blunt tool of some sort may be helpful. The cord really has to be seated down in the channel to work properly. Usually, you can feel it when it goes in.

Thanks Ed, I was hoping for a posting from a "Corvette Veteran" like youself. I have a screen door tool that may work; it's like a mini pizza slicer but the wheel isn't sharp, rather concaved to ride the cord in. Thanks for the help!!!
