        we always used a bleeder valve in the top of the intake manifold water outlet gooseneck to bleed the air from the system because that was the highest point or you had air trapped in the block that took forever to get out.

            The bleeder was on the list of things to do before the first event at Road America but I was still nailing much more important parts on the car as it was being hauled into the trailer. I jacked up the front of the car to raise the radiator above the thermo hsng and filled the system. Worked almost 48 hours straight on that car just before leaving for the track. I don't even remember much of the last few days.
