serial #8594 S tube is semi- flat black with 4 "L" logo 5/16 screws
serial #9609 S tube is semi- flat black with 4 "L" logo 5/16 screws
Michael I have never seen a unrestored 63 with tall 1/4 screws including all the 1963 cars we judged at Bloomington from the beginning in the mid seventies thru the mid eighties, nor have ever seen a 5/16 "M" screw as the current manual describes.
Regarding the S tube its always been about equal in color to the radiator support NOT the air cleaner cannister since it was not an AC made part.
