You mentioned that you're using an electric fuel pump, but you didn't say whether it's pushing through a mechanical pump. If it is, there's a possibility something gave way inside the mechanical pump and the pushrod is bouncing around under load. Try putting the probe on the fuel pump as well. Good luck. And be careful where you point that probe with the engine running......

Could also be an exhaust leak at the manifold-to-head interface; frequently exhaust leaks at that location sound a lot like a "ticking" noise.
