Members,
I am trying to obtain date stamped hose clamps for my '65 project.
We used to be able to get them from the ASL Company. I tried the numbers in Sparks, NV and Woodland Hills, CA without success. Does anyone have the latest number for ASL?
If not, where can date stamped hose clamps be obtained?
I think that you will find that the current reproductions differ slightly in configuration from originals. The font on the date codes differs slightly and the head on the screw is smaller (5/16 vs 3/8?).
Another source would be your local salvage yard the has some of the vintage GM's in the yard. The clamps were used across the board on all product lines. Can have them refinished.
