1978 rear defogger relay

My rear defogger relay is trashed due to an old windshield leak.Located under dash on drivers side. Part # 527362, comes up obsolete (of course)...Anyone know if this is a Corvette only relay/timer or will another GM part interchange? I have not checked parts stores but thought this might be a dealer only item. Correct me if I'm wrong.Craig

GM #527362 is the part you need. It is discontinued. However, this relay is absolutely NOT a Corvette-specific item. It was used across all GM car lines for the rear defroster application. Mostly, its use was limited to 1978 models, but I think that they may also be found in some models a year or two each side of 1978.

I don't know if this relay is available from aftermarket parts sources, or not.
