Walt, the long time Historian for the mid-atlantic chapter and who bought a six month old 62 in 62 that he still owned , died this past weekend of an extremely aggressive brain tumor. walt was a lawyer with the FBI(fingerprint specialist) who jogged 5 miles every day of his last 40+ years, never used tobaccy and rarely imbibed in the spirits. he was in his late 60's and you'd a sworn he was in his 40's. He and fellow MAC members were on the slops of Aspen, Col. as recenty as this past winter/spring.He was a gentleman whose word and actions were to be emulated. He leaves behind a wife, mary, also a very active NCRS road tour /membership chairlady of MAC. viewing is tomorrow in silver spring, md. see washinton post for orbit details.
