    John,

Yep, somewhere back in the thread he said he has a new Dewitt's aluminum installed in his vette.

What condition is your A/C Condenser in? It blocks a large portion of the radiator and if it's restricting the air flow that could cause the problem you are describing. I've got the exact same setup as yours with a new DeWitts radiator and mine runs at 180 all the time, but my Condenser was reconditioned by Classic Auto Air and it has plenty of air flow.

But then he said he had a "4-core" radiator, and DeWitt's doesn't make a 4-core aluminum radiator (nor does anyone else).

                John,

I can understand how you are confused. I followed the entire thread from the beginning and picked up on these tidbits along. Dewitt even explained what a four core (no such thing) was and how it got it's name--etc. Then the original poster comes back and says he has a new Dewitt radiator.

Any thread this long and with this many people throwing in their experiences along the way is so confusing, I don't know how the original guy that posts could make heads or tails from this one.

Wish my 67 BB with AC would run 180 degrees and only 210 degrees in traffic. I would drive it more.

Wait a minute JR, He said "It's a DeWitt radiator". A few years ago that could have meant only one thing, a stock 3155316 radiator. Today we have the "Direct Fit" replacements which are a two row (1"tube) core type radiator. We don't hide the fact this (A63M) model is a 10% reduction in cooling. I looked up my sales records and we didn't sell the radiator so I still don't know for sure what it is. But you are SO right about confusing, I get so frustrated on forums today I think I'm going to stop reading them all to together. A subject I plan to touch on in my NCRS speech in windsor!

                        Tom,

Oh Man, I'm going to miss that speech in Windsor. Can you tape it and send me a copy?

                        Regards,
