You guys should pay a little closer attention to the original question and application. First this thread was mistaken for a mid-year, and now a top tank application. It's neither. Our ***M is a "Direct Fit" replacement aluminum radiator for 55-60 applications that originally came with copper/brass downflow models.

Re: C-1 Radiator
Tom,
Terry understood that, but what he was asking was whether he should put your direct fit unit in his car or replace with the original style top tank. He put a copper replacement in a long time ago, and is just wondering how much cooling advantage the top tank gives over the direct fit. My guess is, that he will never come close to using the capacity of the direct fit radiator, so putting the top tank radiator in a daily driver would be spending a lot of extra money for no additional benefit.
