C3 Intake Manifold Color

What color is the intake manifold on a 1980 L48? The NCRS book says silver, but then it says the engine is painted blue with the intake on. Does any know what company makes the paint that will match?

I remember all of 80-81 intakes being blue.

Steve It should be blue but try to find a paint that matches the GM color as I have seen lots of the wrong shade of blue. I hope someone on here knows what brand paint looks the best. Lyle

Lyle - I found Dupli-Color to be a good match to GM's corporate blue on my 81 454 Pickup......Krylon's was too dark.....Craig
