Can someone advise what chamber size one should be looking for on un-milled 57/997 heads? Thank you.

1957 V-8 heads had a chamber volume of 55.7 cc according to NHRA specs but i could not find a 997 casting # listed

Thanks Clem ------- Was pretty sure that 270 heads should be somewhere in 54/55 CC range but not certain. I think that the pass power pack and FI heads were maybe little larger CC (maybe 58/60) as plug hole was unshrouded a bit. Gonna CC a set of 270hp/997 heads today that don't appear to have been milled but not totally sure and would like to use CC results to determine.

997 heads had a (nominal) 55.6cc chamber.
