Hello
We have a engine Block . We find out it is a 327
Casting #3782870
Stamp S210011 FO227 SG
We look for acorect ID and Type of car for this Engine.
At this time the motor sit in a 59 Vette
Have somebody more information , and what we need on casting ID on this Block
SG was a 63 Passenger car 300hp with Powerglide, and air conditioning. No Corvettes used this ID. The casting date should be on the bellhousing flange on the passengers side, in the same area the casting number is located on the drivers side.

That would make it a Jan. 4, 1963 block. The SG I think was a 1963 passenger code, but not sure, as my '62 book only lists the first letter and not the second (they felt it unimportant at the time).
