I bled the brakes today, the first time I have done this myself in a while. The bleeder valve on the LF did not have a nipple on it, instead it had a screw hole with a small screw sealing it. I was obviously made this way, not by bubba. I don't remember this thing, but it has probably been in there for ages. Sound familiar to anyone?

Re: Dang!
Roy,
You should post some pictures of this car and don't forget to register it in the C1Registry (there are still so little number of 53-55 models)!

Re: Weird C1 brake component...
You did not say what year your car is but I had the same question a couple of weeks ago. The answer was my car ('62) was not supposed to have the sealer screws. I forget what year they stopped using them. Paragon sells them. search under my name to find response.
