    66 327/350 Clutch Linkage

My 66 327 coupe clutch linkage (mainly under the dash) is worn out. I have a few questions and would like to know what vendors are recommended. I would like to replace the clutch pedal and bushings, linkages & etc. I've been looking through all of my books. Does anyone offer some type of packaged deal or should I order all of the parts separate? Also, is the clutch pedal rod welded to the clutch pedal where the bushings go? Mine is. Everything outside of the firewall appears to be OK. Any help or vendor recommendation will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

The clutch pedal push fod should pivot at the pedal on a bin that is projection welded to the pedal. It is relatively simple to push out the pin (the welds will break fairly (easily) and replace it.

When I last did one, I enlarged the hole in the clutch pushrod to accept a brass bushing and installed that to prevent further problems in that area.

Thanks Bill. I believe that since I'm going to take it all apart to inspect and replace worn out parts, I'm just going to order replacement parts. I've looked thru about 10 different vette vender catalogs. Any recommendations on vendors? Thanks....Rich

To my knowledge the pedal assembly was a GM only item and is not being reproduced. Clup's fix is an easy and inexpensive fix. Given the useage of most Corvettes today, the repair will probably last about 75 years or so.
