If an 80 model radiator has multiple leaks, is it best to re-core the original or replace it with a new one? I have been told that Harrison is no longer producing radiators. What brand is preferred, closest to the original design, and where should I go to purchase such a unit?

All of the radiators for 80-82 Corvettes are GM-discontinued. As far as I know, they are also discontinued through the Delco parts system.
I think that having your radiator recored is the best option for you, at this time. This way you will keep your original tanks and end up with a like-new radiator from a functional standpoint. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

The 1980 standard radiator with both LG-4 (305) and L-48 (350) was GM #3053440. This number may or may not be on the radiator tag. Otherwise, there should be a tag with one of these broadcast codes: FF, FN, FP, FRIn Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
