1961 wiring

I am about to make the connections between the rear harness and the dash harness. Has anyone used dialectric grease on the connectors to prevent corrosion? Is it worth while? TIA, John.

I installed a engine wiring harness from Letric Limited last year on my C2 and their instructions were to install dry, as shipped.

agree 100% with dipstick. delco dialectric grease won't cure a continuity problem but its usage will prolong development of such problems. use it. mike

Yes. Use it. Good stuff. It'll help prevent corrosion at the connection. I use it all the time in electrical connections, especially on boats. 'Course this connection isn't in a real bad environment. So now it'll last 1000 years instead of only 500.
