    cadium vs zinc plating

67 judging manual says cadium or zinc, for intake bolts and the like what is correct and what is correct on the hood latches? Anyone with original car who car say for sure. zinc is more shiney like the bolts you buy in hardware store where as the cad is more flat and white looking.

Generally in the 60's, Cad was the plating of choice within GM for corrosion protection. The big push to get rid of Cad came in the later 60's-early 70's.
