C3-Help Decode this Carb 7043507

I decode it as a 1973 Chevrolet , California Q-jet, manual Trans
Date code is 0463 which puts it in February 1974 build.
What I can not find is for what brand engine. Definately not a Corvette.
This is on a friend of mine's 68 Corvette and we are just curious.
