Can anyone tell me if the 427 c.i. engine with a casting number of 3904351, was ever used in the truck application?

The GM #3904354 is a tall deck truck 366 cid block. Tall deck blocks were used in MD and HD trucks, but never in passenger cars of any sort.
The 3904351 block is a short deck passenger car block. It was used in both full size passenger cars and Corvettes during the 1967 model year only. It may have been used in LIGHT trucks, too, if any 1967 model year light trucks were equipped with 427 cid engines. I don't think that any were, though. I believe that any 1967 model year MD or HD trucks that were equipped with 427 engines, if any were so-equipped, would have used a tall deck 427 block. If such a block existed, it would have a casting number other than 3904351.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
