    C1 Moulding Mounting

I am having trouble getting the side fender stainless to clip to the clips I received in a kit I just ordered. My car is a '58. It appears the six clips that hold the side fender mouldings at the ends closest to the doors are too small. They don't clip to the moulding and hold. Any suggestions on this procedure would be very helpful.

    Thanks in advance!

        Roy,

I tried that. Only made it worse. Anyone got any original clips or knows of a source? This is extending my targeted completion date. After almost three years, I'd like to drive the '58 before the snow and cold arrives - I live in Maine. Maybe next summer?

        Thanks Roy!

I also purchased mine from Paragon and they worked fine. I did notice that if I put the curled end of the clip towards the car at the top and installed the molding from the bottom to the top it locked in fine.
