I got this shroud with my 81 project car. Was not installed , was behind the seats! I realize this is older than '81 vintage but I don't know what year it would be. It is 3 seperate fiberglass pieces bonded together. It has no part numbers anywhere, just letters "DS" molded in back of both halves.I have posted a photo, although more than one angle is probably needed.Maybe someone can shed some light. Thanks, Craig
can anyone ID this fan shroud ?

Re: can anyone ID this fan shroud ?
Craig-----
The shroud appears to me to be a 1966 or 1967 Corvette small block fan shroud. And, you're exactly right; this shroud was assembled from 3 individual pieces. In SERVICE, it was available only as the 3 individual pieces and, if one required a complete shroud, then one would have to purchase the 3 pieces, GM #3888268, 3886885, and 3886886, and assemble them. You may or may not find these numbers embossed somewhere on the component sections of the shroud. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: can anyone ID this fan shroud ?
I agree with Joe. Reminds me of 67 corvette and I think it may have been in early 68. But the 68 thing is a stretch. IF there are part numbers, they are on the inside of the shroud around the ring. Each section has a part number on it. Nice item to have if original. Terry- Top

Re: NCRS Marketing
If NCRS ever decides to go national with a full blown marketing campaign...it can use threads such as this and state "these guys know parts!" Puts us in the leaque with NBA, PGA, NFL and baseball.
To show a fan shroud in the back seat (sort of) of an 81 and date it to late 60's...without A/C...is pretty impressive. Nice work.Tom Russo
