    '57 Brake Backing Plate/Original Finish?

    I would like to know the original finish of the 1957 Brake Backing Plates. Bare Metal, Plated, or Painted? If they were painted black or any other color, what was the sheen?

      Bob, Semi-gloss or low sheen black. Krylon has a good match, which is called semi-gloss black (I believe). If you want the color code off of the Krylon can - let me know. Steve
