    Re: Hardtop window polishing: epilogue

Years ago I bought a kit from Eastwoods to restore the window on the used '66 hardtop I got at Carlisle. Made by Micro-Mesh it contained 1500, 1800, 2400, 3600, 4000,and 6000 grit sheets, a foam sanding block and a liquid of some sort. Many, many hours of hand sanding (inside and out) later, it turned out great.

Novus is used to polish and clean pinball playfields. A Google search will yield a lot of mail order suppliers. Here is one I have purchased parts from in the past: http://www.aros.net/~rayj/action/partsgen.htm

        Re: Carbon cleaning Right Steve

        Roy,

I gave the old red car the water treatment yesterday. I was amazed at the quantity of H20 that the carb sucked through at 3000 rpms. Neighbors said they had no mosquitoes last night.
