After replacing the right rear caliper line (worn through from rubbing against the shock), I have a fairly loud noise from the right rear that sounds like a vibration (not a squeal) when lightly applying the brakes. No noise when harder pressure is exerted. Have bled the brakes a couple of times using quick bleeders. Never made the noise before replacing the line. Replaced the pads thinking brake fluid may have contaminated them, but noise persists. I'm inclined to think I don't have all the air out of the system. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

There isn’t air in the caliper if you have a hard high peddle. My best guess is the noise is generated from the pads and rotor. I would take the glaze off the rotor with some fine sand paper and modify the pads as shown on page 46-47 of the corvette restorer Spring 2004. You can also try applying disk-brake anti-squeal.
Good luck- Top
