C2 gas overflow hose

I am having my 63 convertible painted. With the gas door removed I noticed that the overflow hose to the rear bumper is missing. Does anyone know the size of that hose? The car is at the body shop making it difficult to measure for the hose, and I would like to install a new hose before the body shop reassembles the fuel door.

To do the job right, you'll also need the anti-collapse spring that was inserted in the bottom end of the overflow hose (judges check for its presense). So why not just go purchase a pre-cut overflow hose & the reinforcing spring from any of the catalog sources (Long Island, Dr. Rebuild, Corvette Central, Etc.) and install the hose when you get the car back from paint? Since the factory installed the hose before the pre-painted body was dropped onto the chassis on the final assy line, there should be no evidence of body paint overspray....

The Doc has the correct hose, AND the correct spring that FITS in the correct hose (as opposed to some of the other suppliers' parts).
