Hardtop glass date code?

I recently aquired a hartop and a seperate back glass for my '69 L-68. The hardtop appears to have been Mulsanne blue originally, but I have no idea what year it is. The back glass (purchased seperately) has a code 'M72' right under the 'LOF' logo that I suspect means it is '72 year model piece. Does that sound right? What it really needs is the rear glass trim, which I suspect is rare since I don't see it listed in my catalogs. All help is appreciated.

Hans Is their a two letter code on that glass? I'm thinking M72 may be the glass type but I have looked at few hardtops that close. Lyle

Lyle's correct on the glass type...but there should be a two-letter code under the Flo-Lite or wording off the right. Post the code and we can confirm...if its a 72, the second letter will be a "y" The codes will be like YY, or JY, etc. The M72, I believe, is indicative of rear glass removable.
