intake manifold gaskets

I'm looking for a GM part# for intake manifold gaskets for my 1969 L46 (350/350) with intake manifold #3927184. Would I be better off buying a set from Fel-Pro?

The current GM SERVICE gasket set for your application is GM #10147994. This gasket set will not be "correct" with respect to all of the nuances of configuration, but it will SERVICE your application perfectly. Personally, with respect to intake manifold gaskets, I have a preference for the stock type embossed gaskets which are what the 10147994 are. So, I would recommend this type to you over other types. Use this gasket with just a slight film of sealer around the water jacket passages and no sealer around the intake ports or exhaust crossover.

Also, I recommend that you omit using the rubber end seals which are supplied with the gasket kit and, instead, use Permatex Ultra-Copper RTV.

Mike, I think that Paragon sells the "correct configured" intake gaskets.
