OK, I got it, but it was a bit of a challenge. This particular bearing assembly, GM #7811024 was used as follows:

1976 Corvette---- BEARING, with adapter, lower steering column jacket

1971-75 Vega, Monza with P/S----BEARING, hydraulic steering column lower jacket

It was also used on certain Buicks, Pontiacs, and Oldsmobiles, most probably on their versions of the Monza.

GM #7811024 was discontinued in October, 1988 and no supercession was available. At the time of its discontinuation, GM list price for this part was $12.25. It's probably worth considerably more today.

Hi Geoffrey, Found the 7811024 in my 1973 price book with a code 5 for Chevrolet. I have a Oct 1, 1968 parts book (which includes corvettes, pass cars and trucks) but this part number is not in that group. Great to see you again at Corvette Carlisle. Page Campbell
