67 Front End Vibration At Low Speeds

I think I know the answer to this but gonna ask it anyway. I put the Kelly Bias Ply Goodyears on my 67 roadster for judging. Have noticed lately that when the car has sat for a few days I get a front end vibration at low speeds until I drive a few miles then it goes away until the next drive. Is there anything else I should check before I put the radials back on? Kelly's have approx. 1500 miles on them. Front suspension was totally rebuilt during restoration. I have a front end alignment scheduled for August 2nd.

    Thanks,
    Jace Holt

Bias ply, especially if nylon construction do this. There is NOT a problem.

I think your tires have flat spots on them from sitting. As you drive, they soften up and the flat spot goes away. Terry

        Wayne,

I thought this was probably the case. I am dissapointed in the tires. I didn't have this problem with Coker bias ply's on my 64 coupe. But then again that could be due to coupe versus roadster ride I don't know. Anyway I am going to put the radials back on before I have the alignment done.

        Thanks,
        Jace
