New to the hobby I have a question about 78 L48 exhaust manifolds. According to 68-92 pocket guide, #3932461 manifolds were used for approximatily ten years on Corvettes. I have seen 3932461 manifolds casting numbers done in two different ways. One way is 3932 over 461 in about 1/2" numbers. The second way is the numbers are consective 3932461 in about 1/4" or 3/8" numbers. Which is right for a 78 L48? The car presently has AIR manifolds #1408123 which I cannot find in the poscket guide. The emmission label has a DU code. Since so many #3932461 maifolds were made I think it would be cheap to put the proper exhaust manifolds on the car. Any help is appreiciated.
