    C1 drag link seal installation.

Are the drag link seals supposed to be RTV'd on? Just got back from the Windsor meet and I see in one of my photos that one of the 62's had the seat RTV'd to the drag link. If not what keeps the grease from getting out?

    thanks, Chris

Don't rtv it on! It just plain sits on there, and the ball pretty much keeps the grease in, and the seal does most of the rest.

NOTHING keeps the grease from getting out when you grease it. After greasing, you use an old rag to wipe off the excess which has squeezed out, then go on down the road! Same thing with tie rod ends, upper and lower joints, king pins, etc.
