C5 tire pressure sensor reset

I recently purchased a 2002 Z51 roadster. I have not gotten the owners manual yet from the dealer.
I have a reoccurring alarm to service the tire pressure sensors. It resets on the dash and clears. The dash display also shows XX for tire pressures all around. I am told that this needs to be reset with a magnet at each wheel near the valve stem. However I do not have enough info. to start the process.
Can any late model owner describe to me how to set up the tire pressure system?

Kingston if your dealer can't get you a owners manual in a couple of days, most likely the dealer is dragging his feet hoping you will give up and forget about it. All the dealer or you have to do is go to Helminc.com web page and order the manual for $25.00. Check out the web page you may want more that the standard owners manual. If you want the service manual for your 2002 this is also where you order it.

The sensor will only read tire pressure when the car is moving at >10 mph. Another way to get some info on the tire pressure sensors and how to reset them is go online. There are a number of website which can provide you some instructions.

Also I would consider having the dealer do it. Should be part of the service GM dealers provide.
