    Switch 1114428?

Please help me identify a electric/vacuum switch with part number 1114428. It looks like the wiper door safety switch (on the back of the tach) from the seventies to me, but I can't find that number in my old Corvette P&A catalogs. Thanks.

    Jerry,

Spark control solenoid for something earlier than a 70. Group 2.408 My parts book goes back to 73 but it is not listed.

      Jerry-----

It's a TCS system spark control solenoid for a 70-73 Oldsmobile application. It was never used for any Chevrolet application, at all.

                      Re: Maybe....

Somehow I figure your statement about mirrors is more truth than fiction. The old microphish readers use bright lights and mirrors.....

In this modern age we live where old engineering data has been transfered to Cimage or some other medium viewable by PC, the old mircophish technology may have been sent to the salt mines or discarded....

Perhaps you won the Lotto and scored a truck load of "out dated" technology somewhere along the way...

Like everyone else on the board, I'm very thankful you shares the wealth of information with us. Anyone else would turn this type of good fortune into some type of a profit making venture.
