Lube for Tach and Speedo cables?

What's the proper lube to use on these cables?

    Gary,

I use speedo cable grease that you can purchase in small tubes at any NAPA, Auto Zone, Checker, etc..

      Gary,

Whatever lube you use, use it sparingly. If you use too much it will pump up the cable into the head and grease everything. This will cause the speedo or tach to fail and cost you for removal, cleaning and possibly calibration.

        I use...

...cable grease E6TZ-19581-A. Really bugs people to see that blue oval can on the shelf in front of the 'Vette.

Thanks all! I've got a NAPA dealer near me I'll try there first.
